FISHING REPORT
1/29/15 9:12 PM CST
Ice Depth: 8" Conditions: Partly Sunny
pretty sure I found the skinny ice last friday am. Straight across from the boat landing (NNE) close to shore. I had 8" in one hole and 12-13" in all the rest. If you head that way, stay out from shore a ways (50-75yards)....It's probably put on another inch or two by now.

The 6" ice was straigth off the boat landing on the north side well past shanty/permanent city, I was the only one that far out.

FISHING REPORT
1/19/15 8:09 PM CST
Ice Depth: 12" Conditions: Cloudy
I fished all day Sunday had 13 flags for the day with 6 fish to count. The best catch of the day was a 9" perch on a tip up. As far as stuff floating up out of the holes there was none to be found by me! The ice depth was a consistent 12" except for one hole which was drilled closer to shore and that one had 10", would be nice to know the general area though where the 6" of ice was found so everyone knows and can stay away from it,hate to see anyone drop a vehicle through.

FISHING REPORT

Ice Depth: 13" Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 31° - 35° F
Thought I would take a crack at it today. Was out from 11 am until 3:00 pm. Nothing. Fish finder was showing lots of fish. Sadly no takers. Fish activity started to pickup when the sleet started, but not enough to bring any in. No sign of the decay where I was. 50 yards straight out from the Public Launch.

Looks like decaying vegetation? Milfoil? Was going to give it a shot Sunday but glad I did not. Tried Fish lake instead; not much action

I had the same stuff floating in each hole I drilled, you could also see it under the ice.

FISHING REPORT
1/19/15 10:14 AM CST
Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 36° - 40° F
We gave it a try on Sat from about 1:30 till 6. Slowest I've ever seen it there and lots of people saying the same thing. Also, we had a bunch of white/yellow colored "stuff" floating up in the holes but not sure what it was. Maybe that turned them off? Not a mark the whole time till it started to get dark. Then we caught 2 tiny fish and a keeper gill by the time we left, for 8 people that's terrible.

Lots of vehicles on the ice, snow was melting and quite a bit of water on the ice in places. Didn't measure the ice since we were walking. Here's a picture of one of our holes. Any ideas?

thinking about it, I should have fished longer in that hole, proabbly a spring or something to make the ice thinner there.

FISHING REPORT
1/19/15 7:25 AM CST
Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 31° - 35° F Water Temp: Below 40° F
I fished sunday morning from 7am-10, caught 2 smaller perch, did not mark many fish. Alot of trucks out on the lake. the first set of holes I drilled, I measured 12.5-13" of ice, I walked 20 yeards behind me and drilled a few more to hole hop, thought the ice looked thinner, measured and it was only 6", so that being said, be careful driving those trucks out there.

Anyone know how much ice is on the lake now? I am guessing it's still 5 inches or more.

FISHING REPORT
1/9/15 8:40 AM CST
Ice Depth: 5" Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 21° - 25° F
Sorry for late report. Buddy and i went out 1/4. Extremely slippery. Fished from 7am-2pm. Most action was early hours. Action shut down around 11 and didn't really pick back up. We got 4 10-11" perch (couple smaller we tossed back), and few large gills. Saw other guys doing pretty well (they were out before we got there, and left late AM). Did well on mix of colors and waxworm (mix of waxies and spikes were good). Cool
