Boat launch will be in its usual condition. There are plans to build a new one west at the old gravel quarry with a park behind it and move the road south behind it. It's just an idea and far from completion, but I'm sure the DNR has plenty of money to do it instead of fixing the real problem. The pump ran all winter and drew the lake down about 9", but was turned off for a few reasons. Cant wait for the bluegills to come in and spawn, did very well last year, but caught very few this winter for some reason.

Is the ice off the lake? How's the boat ramp looking this year?

Thanks

You can drive on the lake, but you do realize that the game fishing season closed yesterday, right?

Good Evening,

Are you able to drive on the lake. Looking at going out in the morning but not sure if it is a easy on and off the lake. Also, anyone catching any Northern or Walleyes. Please let me know

The west end is not a whole lot deeper at all, but has a little bit of structure to it. Crystal Lake Campground has the bar and grill open all winter. Come on in after your done, get a hot meal, have a beer and share a good story Cool

The few times we've been here there were quite a few people on the East half of the lake. (roughly) There were only a handful of people on the west side of the lake. Is it a lot shallower or any other reason?

We haven't tried over there yet but figured if no one else is fishing it, it's not worth it or it could be a diamond in the rough. The DNR doesn't seem to have a depth map for this one so that's why we're not sure.
